Murray
LanghamDip.Choc.
Therapist, counsellor and facilitator, first became aware of the
possibilities of chocolate through his early work as a chef and
restaurant owner. As his interest in people developed, he studied and
gained diplomas in clinical hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming
and currently working on a Degree in Psychology and Communication.
For
many years, Murray has been involved in the spirit and energy of the
land and people relationship to it. This training in the Mystery
Schools of the Western Magical Tradition embraces early religions of
England, Egypt, Greece and of course, the Qabalistic umbrella.
Concerning him is the watering down of metaphysical and spiritual
truths in the last three decades, the truth becomes the part - truth
of "New Age or Now Age".The dependence on this part truth
stops people looking at who they really are and avoids the greatest
potential that lies within. Murray is staunchly against what he sees
as therapists breeding co - dependency with their clients, the
justification of their own existence. The current political PC
correctness in therapy is not helping the client or the therapist. To
quote Murray, "it is time to wake up and understand ourselves
through what we love, not through what other people say we should
love. Therapy must be a part of our lives, not separate to it [the
clinical office] to allow for the real understanding to flow from the
self - centre. If there is a need for change, it can be as easy or as
hard as you make it and some therapists do make it hard for their
clients!"
It
is time for people to take responsibility for their chocolate and
their lives! These two go hand in hand. Perhaps you are not moving if
you spend money week after week after month on therapy. Why not enjoy
yourself with chocolate and just be. Start to celebrate your very
being and celebrate it with chocolate. Murray runs seminars and
workshops on relationship building (corporate), finding your ideal
partner or bringing love and closeness into your relationship. Using
these modalities, he has evolved a new way of understanding the self
through Chocolate Therapy Ltd., as a means for change. You are what
you love; you are ok as you are once you know your centre. This
concept has resulted in C.H.O.I.C.E. Seminars, a time of fun and
change for people who love chocolate. This also includes speaking to
groups and societies around New Zealand and overseas. When time allows
he has a private practise in the Wairarapa. |

Roger
Simpson
Dip. Choc. New Zealand-born artist, art teacher and therapist ,
qualified in Radical Spiritual Therapeutics. Went to art school in
Sydney, Australia and has painted and exhibited in the USA, Britain,
Australia and New Zealand. He is represented in collections in NZ,
Australia, Britain, the USA, Canada, Sweden and Russia and has shown
over sixty exhibitions, one third of which have been 'one man shows'.
During five years at Queen Mary Hospital at Hanmer Springs, NZ's
national alcohol and drug rehabilitation centre, he developed
therapeutic environmental and horticultural programmes for people
living with addictions. These developed further to become an
internationally pioneering intensive process of integrating the human
primal ability to be 'in creation', the creative spark, with that of
the earth. A new and consolidated art therapy was thrust in the
frantic face of mainstream therapeutics. During this time he
conceptualised and created the Spiritual Garden, acres of earth-worked
land dedicated to metaphysical contemplation, learning and healing.
Later the garden also contained a residency to create large scale
permanent sculptures, a programme which was also published by the Arts
Council of New Zealand. This garden continues to 'mysteriously shift'
the psychology of the hospital residential clients. Roger has
received awards for services to community arts and an award for the
Spiritual Garden. He continues the psychology of the creative spark to
the photographs and illustrations in the books.
Roger
doesn't much care for mainstream therapy processes. The ability to
provide the full reality of safe space to enable a client to work to
full potential is sadly lacking and not supported by Governmental
bodies world - wide. 21st century mainstream has forgotten to be the
primal, biological, animal that we still very much are and until that
is remembered and taken on board by those who write the processes for
Governmental ethical, moral, cultural and safety guidelines, we will
continue to plummet to further depths of abuse from counsellors,
therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists. It is time to wake up and
"come home" to who we really are.
Roger
lives beside a lake in the Wairarapa, New Zealand and designs, paints
and computes all of the Chocolate Therapy books, merchandise and web
site. |
